The core team met with a variety of sustainability experts on March 1st, 2012. The all-day round table discussion, we call it a Big Think, was to identify areas of interest that could be addressed by a LAUNCH: Beyond Waste challenge statement.

Throughout the day insight was provided by the attendees on a variety of topics including the price of moving waste, the affects of waste on human health, decentralized processing facilities, and turning waste into value.

With help from the comments and questions we observed at the Big Think we have developed a LAUNCH: Beyond Waste challenge statement you can review here.

We recorded a few comments we thought you might find interesting and have posted them here for you. If you have any questions or comments please let us know on Facebook, Google+, or Twitter.
