Scott Wu is a White House Presidential Innovation Fellow ’14 and advisor to DIV and USAID. Scott has devoted the past two decades to launching, working with and investing in young companies to disrupt their respective sectors. Previously, he was a member of the founding team of a crowd funding platform for recent graduates. Scott co-founded several venture capital and investment firms that together manage over $1B. He has a track record of achieving superior returns, having completed 16 investments with an aggregate IRR of over 100% – including five IPOs and eight successful sales. He worked on development projects in Tanzania, a center combatting child prostitution in Bangkok, refugee camps and AIDS orphanages. He was formerly President of Aim High, which focuses on education for the underprivileged, and is currently Chairman of the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants in DC. He graduated from Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School.
