Jean Cox-Kearns serves as Director of Compliance for Dell Global Take Back. In this role, Jean chairs the Dell Global Take Back Compliance Council supporting Dell’s global strategy and operations for complying with Battery, Packaging and E-Waste legislations. Jean also works pro-actively with Governments on developing legislations encouraging pro-active development of solutions to tackle the e-waste challenges particularly in developing countries, and focusing on recognizing E-Waste as a resource. In addition, and specifically for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA) is also responsible for Dell’s commercial Asset Resale and Recycling service. Jean also represents Dell globally in a number of external initiatives and sits on the Steering Committee of the UNU StEP Initiative.
Prior to this role, Jean spent four years in Dells Asset Recovery Business (ARB) as EMEA Returns Process Manager with key objectives to implement standardized processes for all EMEA returns and to reduce the return rate.
Jean holds a Masters Degree from the University of Ulster and a Marketing diploma from the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
