We recently received an update from Turbococina founder René Nuñez Suarez. After attending the LAUNCH Energy Forum René has received media interest from throughout Latin America. Mr. Suarez has since been highlighted in an article in his country's El Salvador Magazine which also included a nod to Point Source Power. Mr. Suarez also appeared on a popular morning radio show in El Salvador.
Words of Wisdom from the Big Think
The core team met with a variety of sustainability experts on March 1st, 2012. The all-day round table discussion, we call it a Big Think, was to identify areas of interest that could be addressed by a LAUNCH: Beyond Waste challenge statement.
Throughout the day insight was provided by the attendees on a variety of topics including the price of moving waste, the affects of waste on human health, decentralized processing facilities, and turning waste into value.
