Daniel Carter is a Principal at Conduit Ventures and joined Conduit in 2003. Conduit Ventures is a fund focused on energy efficiency, management and storage funded by large corporate investors involved in the energy sector. Daniel is responsible for investments in low-carbon energy and has funded and developed several successful companies through to profitable exit, both IPO and trade sales, investing the first and second-time Conduit Funds I & II. Prior to Conduit, Daniel was with Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney, where he co-founded the Energy Technology group in Europe, and has been financing renewables and conventional power since the late 1990’s. Daniel holds MBAs from Columbia Business School, London Business School, a Masters Degree from University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a B.S. from Georgetown University.
