Mina Hsiang

Mina Hsiang is a senior associate at General Catalyst Partners, a venture capital firm where she focuses on early-stage healthcare technology and wireless investments. An electrical engineer, she has worked building several different technology platforms, including simplified molecular diagnostic systems for point-of-care use in developing countries, and robotic prosthetics and orthotics for amputees and stroke victims. Her particular interest includes the development of novel interface systems to make complex technology more easy and comfortable to use. She has also worked for the William J. Clinton Foundation on international development issues, including 10 months living in Malawi and working closely with the government on water, sanitation, and health programs for rural areas. She holds a BS and MEng in electrical engineering from MIT, and an MBA from Harvard.
