Michael F. Wells is a Partner and Vice President in IBM’s Global Business Services – specifically responsible for both the Market Development Organization and IBM’s Growth Initiatives. As the Market Development Leader Mike and his team are ensuring that IBM’s Services, Solutions, and Strategy are aligned with customers in the Public Sector. Of particular focus is to ensure that IBM’s current, next, and after next capabilities are leveraged to solve our customer’s most difficult problems. As the Growth Initiatives Leader Mike and his team are ensuring IBM’s Cloud Computing, Business Analytics and Optimization, and Smarter Planet/Buildings/Data Centers are aligned with customers in Public Sector.
Mike’s business interests at IBM are to leverage and build upon the Growth Markets, Cloud and Smarter Computing, Business Analytics & Optimization, and Smarter Planet Campaigns. In line with his business interests, Michael’s personal interests are aligned with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) aka GREEN environment/solutions.
