Jonathan Tench

Following his Master’s degree in African Politics & Economics at the School of Oriental & African Studies, Jonathan worked for the UK Labour party and in advocacy roles for Oxfam GB. Jonathan joined Unilever in 2011 and was responsible for developing the company’s advocacy and partnerships strategies around its Water, Sanitation and Hygiene global strategy and its leading consumer brands in this space. Jonathan worked directly for CEO Paul Polman during his participation in the UN’s High Level Panel on the Post-2015 Agenda. From Unilever Jonathan joined the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Business Network as Global Coordinator in 2013. The network currently supports 26 Country Governments within the SUN Movement to develop strategies to engage the private sector in their national nutrition strategies and has recruited over 350 multinational and national companies to support SUN.
