David Lucchino is the CEO of Entrega, a biotechnology company based in Cambridge, MA. Previously, David was the CEO of Semprus BioSciences until its acquisition by Teleflex Medical, Inc. David co-founded Semprus BioSciences while attending MIT with Professor Robert S. Langer, Sc.D.
Prior to co-founding Semprus, David was a Senior Associate at Polaris Partners, a venture capital fund based in Boston. David also co-founded LaunchCyte, an investment firm that specializes in acquiring and developing biomedical intellectual property.
David earned his MBA at MIT, a MS from Syracuse University and a BA from Denison University. He currently serves on the Board of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council and Babson College.
David is active with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), where he was part of an expedition that climbed Alaska’s Mt. McKinley, spent 95 days living in the Rocky Mountains and rafted down Idaho’s “River of No Return,” the Salmon River.
