Catarina Englund

Catarina Englund joined IKEA of Sweden in 2011 on corporate level as Business leader becoming responsible for a part of IKEA Home Furnishing Business. The second assignment was as Range Manager for IKEA Food services. Two years ago, Catarina joined the Sustainability Innovation team as Sustainability Innovation Manager in the IKEA Group. The aim of this group is to build new transformational businesses for IKEA with innovation and sustainability as a base. Catarina has a long experience in marketing, sales and product development in Fast Moving Consumer Goods in Retail and Discrete Manufacturing. She has spent half of her professional life working with Research & development starting off as European Project Manager for Development of food products and ended as R&D Director for Northern Europe. During the second half of her career she worked as Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager in different European Countries. She has worked for companies such as Nestlé, HJ Heinz and Leaf/Cloetta. Catarina holds an MSc in Chemical engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, Sweden and further studies in Economy and marketing at Lund University.
